New user here - first message is a plea for help !!!
When I scan through my favourite channels, I get two channels at the start before RTE 1, Sky Sports 1 and 2. They have no channel numbers and don't appear on the favourite channels "list". How the hell do I get rid of 'em ? They are taking up 2 of the 20 fav channels spaces...
I've tried rebooting etc, no luck. Will ring Sky if necessary but said I'd try and get an answer of the "experts" on this board first

If you highlight the channel and look at the bottom of the screen it think you will see a yellow square with delete wriiten after it. Press the yellow button on your remote and hey presto.

Sorry my description was from memory.
Highlight the offending channel, there will be a tick after it.
Press the yellow button, the tick disappears.
Press select, backup will do nothing.

Go back into favourites to check and the tick should be gone.

OK basically the problem is that Sky Sports 1 and 2 are now Irish versions (the only difference being the ads). The two appearing before RTÉ 1 are the old UK versions.

To get rid of them follow these steps
    Plug out you digibox.
Take out the viewing card and put it back in upsidedown.
    Plug back in the digibox.
You should see a few error messages saying insert card, or card not valid, you can ignore them.
Now when you look at the EPG, BBC1 should be on top.
You can now go in to Favourites Setup and remove Sky Sports 1 and 2.
Once you have done this plug out the box again, replace the card correctly and plug the box back in.
    Should all be working fine.
