    is the service as normal or do the buses finish early?

    Had a look at the Dublin Bus web site and not a mention of this. Some mention of the Nite Link (which is a grand service).
    My previous experience is that the last buses leave city centre about 9pm. Most definitely not the usual service.

    Monday 22nd December 2003
    Normal services will operate on all routes. Nitelink services will operate.

    Tuesday 23rd December 2003
    Normal services will operate on all routes. Nitelink services will operate.

    Wednesday 24th December 2003 – Christmas Eve
    Normal services will operate on all routes. Last buses will leave the city at 2100 hours and will operate in service back to their respective garages excluding buses from Heuston Station, Dublin Airport and Ferry Port, which will operate later than 2100 hours. A Saturday service will operate on DART feeder routes. Xpresso and Nitelink services wll not operate.

    Thursday 25th December 2003 – Christmas Day
    NO BUS SERVICES.

    Friday 26th December 2003 – St. Stephen’s Day
    A Sunday service will operate on all routes. Nitelink services will operate. Xpresso services will not operate.

    Saturday 27th December 2003
    Normal Saturday services will operate on all routes. Nitelink services will operate.

    Sunday 28th December 2003
    Normal Sunday services will operate on all routes. Nitelink services will operate.

    Monday 29th December 2003
    Normal services will operate on all routes. Nitelink services will operate. Xpresso services will not operate.

    Tuesday 30th December 2003
    Normal services will operate on all routes. Nitelink services will operate. Xpresso services will not operate

    Wednesday 31st December 2003 – New Year’s Eve
    Normal services will operate on all routes but last buses will leave the city at 2200 hours and will operate in service back to their respective garages. A Saturday service will operate on routes 102, 111 and 114. Nitelink services will operate. Xpresso services will not operate. Route 39B will not operate.

    Thursday 1st January 2004 – New Year’s Day
    A Sunday service will operate on all routes. Nitelink and Xpresso services will not operate.

    Friday 2nd January 2004
    Normal services will operate on all routes. Nitelink services will operate. Route 84X Xpresso service will operate. All other Xpresso services will not operate.

    Dublin Bus people must be reading Boards.ie Their website was only updated on Friday and there are ads in the papers today.

    DART UPGRADE Service Schedule

    The first phase of the DART Upgrade, costing €176 million, will see peak capacity on DART and commuter services through the central area (Connolly-Pearse) grow by over 30%, and will ensure that all stations currently inaccessible or partially accessible to mobility-impaired customers will be fully upgraded. The improvements are designed to allow DART capacity keep pace with our growing city, and will be completed by October 2005. The following is the three month service schedule.

    1st Dec - 23rd Dec.
    Normal DART and Commuter services, including WEEKENDS.

    Christmas Eve
    Last DART will leave the city centre at approx 21:00.

    Christmas Day & St. Stephen's Day
    No train services will operate anywhere on the Iarnród Éireann Network

    27th Dec - 4th Jan.
    All train services between Connolly and Greystones will be cancelled for these 9 days. Normal service will operate between Malahide, Howth & Connolly.

    10th Jan - 31st Jan.
    There will be no weekend DART or Commuter services south of Pearse. Normal Service will operate Monday to Friday.
