Worse are the "I'm under stress to feel happier than usual because it's christmas" people. Every christmas doesn't have to be magical, perfect and better than all before it. Once you enjoy yourself it doesn't matter.

Hmmm christmas is a good time of year, life at the moment is good for me. Little Stressed no Christmas shopping done, Working loads over the next two weeks, and have a 3000 word report due in on the 9th of january and it's not going too well. Sure life's good.

I know christmas is a time where a lot of people get depressed more than usual, but I think it's still good to remember the good things. TBH if ou can post on boards it means you either have a computer and an internet connection, or enough money to spend on an internet cafe so you're not short on food money. Or if you have a friends who's house you're posting from - then you have friends!!

Everyone has their problems, big or small it's not down to anyone to decide who's matter more. We all have to work through these problems, but i'm asking now at this time of christmas for those who can stop and listen for a minute to give out a christmas cheer! To remember the times when christmas meant something, or for those of you with unhappy christmas memories, realise that it's never too late to start making HAPPY memories. Now Peace has started off this thread so thank him if these posts give you something to remember (nomatter how little it is) and i'll offer this up to you....

I would just like to yeah, life doesn't always suck. Its Christams, I'm getting out of dodge to avoid my newly seperated parents, I'm horribly and utterly single, broke and cold. But hey, I'm singing Christmas carols, pretty women have flushed cheeks because of the chill in the air, I'm going to Birr where the port is cheap and all the Inn's have a warm heath and food is a pleanty.

Yes- its all not half bad. Christmas brings out some strangeness in people but for the most part let us all enjoy and not get worked up over turkey.

Yeah it's all great! So what if my college course is tough, and my job tiring, I'm still enjoying myself and am pretty much always happy! The fact that Christmas has come along just makes it even better cos I love the whole Christmas thing, with all the songs and presents and shopping and seeing my realatives I haven't seen in ages and Christmas dinner and nice chocolates and biscuits lying around!
Sorry if this post annoys ppl, just wanted to let you know that there are happy ppl out there!
