    Reminds me of that documentary I saw about the War Dogs in Vietnam... pulling their fallen human counterparts away from danger, literaly dragging them with their mouth.
    Think I saw them being parachuted in to the battlefield aswell, but I'm not sure if that was real or my imagination :)

    I know for a fact that German special forces have trained dogs to jump into combat situations with them. Also remember reading accounts of paratroopers from D-Day who had dogs jump with them to find mines.
