some of the branches will have it in stock now, other may have to order in.

woud be a 'greater price' if it was around the same price as the likes of mobilefun.co.uk
£338.45 (approx Eur 485) delivered to your door...

but certainlty better then the Eur 679 currently quoted from the Telephone Center on Dawson St!

Ye, i should have said what a great price for an irish high street shop.

I expected it to be 600-700. They were selling the 7250i for 539 last month (now 399)

    Big price drop.

    Any info on contract price?

No the guy said there is a big problem with the wap browser on the 6600 working with the irish networks, it supports wap 2.0, and all our networks are only 1.1 and 2.0 wont work with 1.1 (?) so it could be a while before its available on contract.

    (This could be all wrong)

    Official Statement from Vodafone.
The Nokia 6600 supports wap connectivity based on a version of Wap technology that is not currently supported by the Vodafone Ireland network. We are working towards support of this technology in Quarter 1 of 2004. Unfortunately, due to the Wap incompatibility issue the Nokia 6600, and other handsets that require unsupported Wap technology, are currently not approved for use on the Vodafone Ireland network. While this should not effect your basic telephony services, we cannot provide support for Wap on these handsets at this stage.
