This stupid clown is at it again. Never mind whether you hate Manchester United because your team hasn't won the league in 13 years, but this idiot now is critisizing
the entire Premiership. 'Too many foreign legionarres' he says!! Seems to forget about Italy and Spain though. They can do what they want, but when it comes to English football it's wrong. This isn't the first time he's talked sh*te, but i can't remember what exactly he's done before. Anyone else remember?

    Blatter Out.

I heard the tailend of something in the news.
Something about Prem Managers trawling "Under Developed Countries" (His words) looking for talent and how this was wrong!

"'Too many foreign legionarres' he says!! "

FFS. Did he ever look at Real or Barca? IMO Prem is one of the best leauges in the world and he's just tryin to find fault with it!

Maybe it's just that the criticism of the premiership is shown through the english and irish media more than criticism of the Spanish and Italian leagues.

This is just a guess so maybe i'm wrong.

Imagine how good the EL would be with all the Irish players playing in it.

Someone told me that the F.As representitive made his point that he was voting for the other lad when the FIFA presidential elections were taking place. So maybe he's still holding a grudge.

    And F.A.O: PORNAPSTER
    What do you mean?

Imagine how good the league would be if all the players played in their home countries. It was just a thought that came to mind when I read this thread about too many foreigners playing in the Premiership. Imagine if the rule was changed so that all the players would have to play in their home countries.

Yes, imagine that. Also imagine how cr@p the national team would be. Infact, why don't we keep all the Irish people in Ireland, and keep the foreigners out? And bring back our actors from Hollywood. Imagine how good Fair City would be with Colin Farrell & Liam Neeson etc etc.

Blatter is a prat who seems to know next to nothing about football but thanks to some very suspicious politics has managed to stay in power. The man is so out of touch with supporters feelings, and is constantly trying to inflict rules that no-one wants of teams - a 16 team Premiership for example.

Put your mind to it, we'd have the managers the owners everything. There are plenty of Irish players playing abroad. Enough to make the EL a decent league.

He was mouthing off about Rio Ferdinand a few weeks ago also. Saying that if the FA dont come down hard enough on him then FIFA will.

The FA dont tell FIFA how to run the World Cup so he should keep his opinions to himself. I didnt hear him whinging when Stam and Cuoto were found guilty of drug taking and they only served a few months.

And the fool wants to deduct United for points in games United played him in....
Even though the F.A gave them permission. That Sepp Blatter is going to be lynched one day.

Well you know it might have something to do with the fact FIFA are football's governing body and all! :p

FIFA have always thought they are a law onto themselves, even dating back to just before the bosman case when they effectively said they were exempt from EU law and could do whatever they wanted:D Blatter though seems to be trying to make a name for himself as the stupidest president ever. He should let the proper authorities take action and then make a comment, not making threats about expulsions and points deductions, especially considering he knew very little about the actual facts of the case:rolleyes:

Well, in Forests case most the irish lads have been brought through the youth team. You could say imagine how good the Irish team would be if no Irish lads had been brought on and nurtured by English teams .... Do you think Roy Keane would have been the player he turned out to be if he carried on playing amatures week in and week out.

Think about it, with all the Irish coaching, managing, owning and playing at clubs abroad. If they were all in Ireland, we would have ourselves a good league. If all the coaches were here they could be brought on and nurtured as you say...

There are plenty of Irish players playing abroad. And there is only 10 teams to fit them all into in the EPL.

Football is a business. You cannot restrict businessmen to ply their trade in their home country. That disappeared in the 18 century.

Ol' Sepp doesn't seem to have noticed that European law states that there is free movement of labour in the EU, and that includes footballers. They already have a rule of no more than 3 non-EU footballers in play at any time, just to put off those nasty foreigners.
