Also what do I check to see if I have to pay full price, or might I have insurance?

Most people who are working are covered by their PRSI, where most treatment is free or low cost. Medical insurance usually doesn't cover dentists, although there are some products on the market.

As best I know Medical Cards will cover almost all dental treatment.
