no mention of when they'll show it?

The second paragraph suggests it'll air during Spring. Vague. But still, I don't care who shows it once I get to watch it! :D

I wonder if N2 will show it first tho'?

Either way, the series is enjoyable so far but lacking a certain something....

"I wonder if N2 will show it first tho'?"

The first series was shown on N2 and BBC2 but N2 were ahead a few episodes all the time.

TBH I don't care who shows it so long as I get to see it!:D

Have seen the first 6 episodes allready.. intresting enough so far a bit predictable (sp?).

Far less of Kim which is a good thing.... was sick of watching her runaround like a twit!

Actually N2 where behind for the first 10 or so episode, then the caught up because of Snooker and n2 showing double episodes.

    I stand corrected Elmo.

i am almost sure that Network 2 showed it 1st. i was in 2 minds about which channel to watch it on, BBC for the widescreen or RTÉ because they showed it first so went with RTÉ to avoid spoilers

Look Mossy, I think you should stand corrected too.

I know that BBC 2 had it first because I had been looking forward coming over this side of the alantic before that. Also It was up againist ER on RTE One so waying up my options, I watched it on N2 When they started showing it.

Happy I did as N2 caught up with the Beeb very quickly. And then showed the second series first while the Beeb continued to interupt it with Snooker etc.

Hopefully N2 get their hands on it for the spring, I'm really looking forward to seeing this new Chase character that they're bringing in.

    I think Elmo is right.
Didn't it start on BBC3 first and then it moved to BBC2, or they just started repeating it on BBC2.

Yeah BBC3 was an hour later and an episode ahead. So you could watch it on BBBC2 and then change to BBC3 if you missed a week .
Some weeks were a 24 fest - you'd get to see 3 or four different episodes. between N2 and BBC's..

disregarding series 1, I think series 2 was premiered on N2 a week or so before BBC2 with the gap widening because of snooker

well as sky have advertised , series 3 will start in february, and afaik n2 will be showing it around the same time, but like everything else on sky , they will probably be showing the series, a repeat of the episode , probably re-run the first two series 5 nights a week , and probably end up confusing any newbies who just started watching series 3, plus sky have more ad breaks then n2....................all we can do is wait and see.....:ninja:

They would say that anyway - UK market being their bread and butter and all that. Still a chance that RTE will secure the terrestrial rights and get it at the same time.

wouldnt worry about that. Sky have exclusive rights to the Heineken Cup aswell and both Sky and RTÉ showed the Munster game yesterday

I'm almost 99% sure that N2 showed both seasons of 24 ahead of BBC.
I distinctly remember watching 24 on N2 and not being able to talk to my mate about it because he watched it a week or so later on BBC because they didn't show ads during it.
BBC2 also repeated it in batches of two and three every couple of weeks.

Anyway, i really hope RTE don't drop the ball on this one.
They need to get 24 season 3.

    Killian Killian Killian!!!!!!

N2 was about 5 weeks behind BBC2 for the first season, until they started showing double episodes and the BBC kept replacing it with Snooker :(

But the second series was first shown on N2.

Elmo is quite right, BBC were ahead in series 1 but got overhauled by NET 2 in the second half! World Championship Snooker if i remember right!
