Didnt mean to offend anyone with the "old fart" thing, just a phrase thats been thrown at me the last week or two.

Beruthiel, of todays birthdays on boards (5), we've 2 20's, a 21, a 22 and a 28. It just kinda occured to me that unless decembers were very popular in '82,'83,'84 that theres an awful lot of 20ish people on here.

I actually caught myself doing this the other day,
though it was less about walking to school, and more one of my younger friends moaning about homework.

abby birfdaaaaay!!!! Still tipsy after the Xmas partay. Wonder if they're be another birthday in September. Jeez, hope not.

I'm suspect that I'm one of the older boarders. Been using email for, yikes!, nearly 20 years now.

One thing I notice as an older person is the number of 13 year olds about now. Difficult to find a place for kids in first year. All down to Ireland's participation in the World Cup in 1990. And you'll also find lots of birthdays in November, 9 months-ish after St Valentine's Day.

Today - 9 months = St Patrick's Day nearly. So more drink taken.
The maternity hospitals also tend to notice a rise in birth rates if there's been a bad winter with lots of power cuts...
