Could some one tell me what the bsx5.dll file does and where i could get a copy of it. It seems to have gone missing and XP Home is screaming at me at startup.

its not important really, its just spyware. .

to get rid of the warning -

"To get rid of the RUNDLL errors you might get after removing the bsx5.dll and bs3.dll, run regedit(Start->run "regedit") and browse to
    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

and delete the two keys for those DLL's there.

That should fix it!" - stolen from computing.net forum..

if the path for "Run" is wrong or the entries for those DLL's aren't there,
just search through the registry(Edit->Find - (F3 to skip through results))
It probably wont in the first result you find ..

A quick look on GOOGLE seems to indicate that it is spyware...

    This is a spyware file.

Also have a look for bs3.dll on your system.

You should use MSCONFIG and/or the registry to remove this apyware application from your startup
