Computer games can (and are) a form of animation right? Do any of you guys know any sites that talk about this kind of notion i need it for my assignment?

Do a search undr gamasutra for articles about it. There are a few good ones.

Polycount.com critiques epoples attempts and making models for computer game along with their animations. It could be a a place to get ideas on what people find important when animating game characters.

Have a look at the surge of machinama on google and see what that comes up with. its animation using game technology to render and camera script it. Some of its flookin excellent.

I did a masters on computer game character design and animation which i dont have on-line so its pretty pointless telling you really Ill post a few links and articles referenced if i can dig the thing out.... dont hold your breath tho.... aint seen it in like 2 years!
