bascially i have the windows boot partition on a hard drive attached to a dma controller.

the windows partition is d:\ or
    as the bootloader reads it..
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(2)partition(1)\WINNT="Windows 2000 SP4 Final" /fastdetect

now i have installed a new dma controller card..
which 1 new hd is attached to (needed new controller card to support hds over 137gigabytes)

now with both in the machine.

the new controller card takes the first driver letters..
and sets the 2 other hard drives connected to the old hard drive back a letter..

and hence my bootloader wont function..

how can i get the exact ARC path to the windows partition
with the new configuration i have.

i have tried absoulete paths as in D:\WINNT but no joy..
