    Absolutely class...

It still amazes me how they can spend so much money doing up the quays and
the lighting involved there and they just seem to be so lacking in the city centre
when it comes to christmas lights... I know the quay was a long term investment
and such and it does look very good but christmans a time of year when a lof of
people come into the town to shop and it would be good for them to make a little
extra effort just make the place look that bit more impressive..

Does anyone know if the businesses are asked to contribute to the xmas lights on
    the streets every year?

It might be one way to help them improve them a little..

    Tox

couldnt be as bad as Dungarvan which very nearly had no lights this year :D because of the hungry shop keepers :(

    Gorey - crap
    New Ross - um, crap
Wexford - Quay and Redmond Square beautiful but the streets - crap
Enniscorthy - Lovely except for the miserable small tree in the square!!

Newross has had the same lights for as long as I can remember. The Dunbrody is the only new thing lights are on that the town has seen in decades.
