    No interest in playing angsty mom-rock, hard-rock or metal, ideally something experimental and intelligent, musically rather than lyrically-driven... Weather report, Joanie Mitchell, The Sundays, The Smiths, Squarepusher, dj Food.

    hello mate,

    We just had ,lets say 'politics' with our bass player and he's gone.
    A pain as we have just got on our feet and done a good few gigs around town that went fairly well.
    I've had to cancel a bunch of gigs including tonite with Skunk in TBMC.
    Piffed off basically. We have a good 35 mins originals and a few covers.
    We are looking for someone that can dive in, learn the stuff we got so we can keep giggin and once thats done WE ALL start jammin some new stuff.
    Not highly complex but very groovy.
    We have a CD which I will send you a copy of and you can decide if this is your kettle of fish.
    BTW, we are/were a 3 piece (looking for KB/syths), 25 - 28 .

    Hi alansan. I'm a guitarist looking for other like minded musos. Influences are Kinks, Who, Rolling Stones, Moby Grape, David Bowie, Talkingheads, The Smiths, Suede.

    Have you had much luck in your search. I want to join / form a band with dedicated people to write quality songs with strong melodies and lyrics.
