Water Rescue Unit recruitment

    A Water Rescue / Recovery unit will be recruiting in January / Febuary We are looking for 8 to 10 fit and dedicated Men and Women to be trained up as Rescue Boat Coxwains, Crew and Radio Operators you will also be fully trained in First Aid, Boat handling, Navigation ect. When you are trained you will help provide Water Safety ans rescue cover at event like Skyfest and Slane and many others. Interview and suitability assesment will apply. This is Voluntary work!

    It sounds like a great way to get some practical water training and be part of a team of genuine community volunteers. It could be very helpful to commit for a few years to it and the skills learned would surely be transferable or might come in very handy one day when you're not on duty. Volunteering for the community is a great way to feel a part of the community. :)
