Where to go on Hoilday in January

Ok I have about 10 days hoilday to take before February so id like to head off somewhere.. Is there a place where I can go to get a nice TAN or will all places be to cold for getting a tan and lying on the beach? Or what would be a nice place to go site seeing ???
