Definitely worth getting. What do you get that is not already on the version you have?:

    DTS sound.
Four addtional commentaries by the cast & crew.
Plus 6 hours of brand new documentaries and features.

    Well worth getting!!

Yeah definatly worth getting, the extra footage is excellent, really fleshes out the story and expands the characters (especially Faramir in the second one). The price is a bit steep for something you already have, but if you can spare the cash get them:)

200% recommended. The Extended Editions are the superior versions of the movies - the way Jackson, I feel, would ideally have presented his movies. They flesh out characters and moments and add a great depth in the case of both movies.

Oh and they look great when seen on the cinema screen

    Absolutely worth getting.

The added scenes really do flesh out the story, there's a lot that couldn't be fitted into the theatrical release, and there's some very essential scenes that were left out. Must see tbh.

Not sure if it's a misprint or what, but in Gamestop I picked up their throwaway magazine, has LOTR Two Towers extended version for 30!

    Mark

Not a bad price! I just saw The Two Towers: Extended Edition in the cinema... it's soooo good. I want Return of the King now!!

ended up ordering the two towers from cd-wow.com, it isn't listed on the hk site, I think I will get it for somewhere between 27-29Euro, they've dispatched it today so I should have it by the end of the week.

The fellowship extended is on cd-wow.com.hk and it works out at about 23Euro I think!
