Rich Girls on MTV

I watched this for the first time today on mtv, and thought it was hilarious. The two girls (jamie and Ally) are so out of touch with reality its amazing. Some of the quotes are brilliant,

(and on helping people in the third world) Well as rich americans we have to do something.

With mtv shows like this and the osbournes, and the white trailer trash on Jenny Jones on daytime telly us college students are well catered for:)

I can't believe you just said that. I got bored the other day, so sat down to watch some television for the first time in a while. After struggling through the 5 mins , or so of ads that were on, Rich Girls followed. After deciding suicide prolly wasn't best way to distract myself, I tried all the other channels. Same feelings arose towards every other channel. Daytime tv sucks the big one, and needless to say, I quickly found something else to do.

As for adtv's constant replays of osbournes, jackass and jessica simpsons show, all of which you more than likely love, I reckon they should all be moved to a new channel along with shows such as the salon, and all the ads, and that MTV get back to playin music.

Oh, and TRL and it's entire crew should be assissinated.

i know i could be shot down for this but.....


what makes me feel good about this show is the fact that there both:
1. airhead's
2. will have everything handed to them on a plate so will never have the feeling of buying somthing ( a car,stero, mobile phone) that they earned
3. ugly minger's
4. living off other people's fame and doing nothing to earn it them selfs




why dont they do a show about me? call it
poor over worked boy.

Well I agree with you about the salon its total rubbish, but the others arent too bad. They are repeated too much though. Daytime tv sucks and shows like this are the best of a bad bunch, at least they give us cheap laughs at other peoples stupidity:)

MTV was good, and played music, and entertained the cynical X generation -
"yeah, <finger quote>'groovy'</finger quote>"

but since the late 90's MTV has just become another program ridden channel, and the manager or whoever runs the shows, thinks this truely entertains people

I was merely illustrating how out of touch with reality the two girls are, this quote came out of the blue and was such a stupid thing to say at the time.

Well most of it is working for them The Osbournes is the most watched show in mtv history next comes Jackass, and look at all the money they made from selling the rights to other channels
