Q3 Lossing your saved games when you change the Config file

    Quake 3 Stores you game in the config file so
    if you replace the q3config.cfg file then you
    lose all the games you have played so far
    Is that the thicks way to save the games you
    have heard of i just lost all the games i have played up to the 5th level on hardcore
    and if your worndeing why i replaced the q3config it was to setup some mem to use more ram
    So do not replace the q3config file sad.gif

    Methinks u r rapidly beginning to hate Q3...

    My understanding of the q3config.cfg file is dat it has everything in it.
    Which is good or bad depending on how u look @ it.

    As long as you keep separate your cfg file and always play with it then u should never loose u're saved games. biggrin.gif
