Is it possible to have alternate identities on iChat? I want to talk to my buddies as me, but if I'm using it for a public forum, I'm not a bit happy for my full name - or even my .mac name - to appear.

Why not get an AIM account and use that?

I think I'm going to do that; I'll have to download AIM, though, and want to know if it conflicts with iChat or any other app.

Apparently in earlier versions of iChat you can add different AIM accounts, but when I tried to do that on this machine it only offered "created a new .mac account", which I declined gracefully, not being made of money.
