Not sure if this is the right thread but here goes.

Im basically looking for a Training institute to get my CNE
Dublin preferably, and as I havent got training here before
    im a little lost.

As we all know alot of these places with fancy
brochere`s really know sweet f a . I dont want to waste the
guts of six thousand or more on some ponce who is basically
reading to me out of a book.

So I was hopeing someone could shread some light on what they thought
was a good training college and why ?

Has anyone been to SureSkills , Ashfield , Iact etc ? what did you think?

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

Can I ask what is fueling your need to get trained and certified in a dead network OS?
I certainly wouldnt waste much money on getting certified in an area like this, think about what the future is looking at, rather than the past. When was the last time you heard novell had been installed anywhere :)

You would be surprised at what novell are at these days :)
I wouldnt consider them dead by a long shot, alot of backbone infrastructure
is still run by Novell and they have some great packages out atm imo
    ie ZENworks, Groupwise etc

They also have recently purchased SuSE for their client side linux and Xiaman ?
for their Server side so their definatly planning ahead .

Atm the Novell market may look bad but their is alot of work going on to secure a more prominant position for themselves .
Aswell as that if they do start gaining more of a market position then Companies
will start looking for CNE`s again, and to be honest you are right their are few around , which isnt bad for me either
Supply and demand = I can charge more

Just keeping ahead of the competion, Imo during this general period of
stagnancy I think its a great time to get Exp and Certs under your belt
so you can be rdy when the Market turns more positive.

im just puting cash on Novell making a turn around and if they dont Ill still know another system which helps :)

Ohh btw to answer my own Qs I couldnt find anyone who had done Novell traing recently so I have gone with a crowd called SureSkills , Course seems a bit long at 23 days but hopefully it will be worth it
