    Anybody a fan of this. It is the ryder cup of 9 ball pool and it is fantastic entertainment. This year is the first time it will be held in the US so come on europe

    For all of you 9 ball fans with Sky Sports, get tuned into The Mosconi Cup starting on Thursday 18th Dec. Europe will be defending the "Ryder Cup of Pool", clinched last year by a Steve "Romford Slim" Davis victory over Earl "The Pearl" Strickland. America have dominated the tournament with 7 wins out of 9 attemepts. This year will be the first time it has taken place on American soil. Starts 7pm Thursday.

    missed it last year but watched it last night it was good enough.

    after being 3-6 down in the first two days europe are now leading 8-6 going into the final day.

    Did anyone else think it was sounded a bit odd when the crowd started chanting EUROPE EUROPE EUROPE? Few games I saw were very entertaining tho, hopefully we'll do better next year.

    Anybody know why Drago wasnt in the Europe team? Especially after winning that big tournament about a month or two ago.

    Interesting that Davis is the only man to play in every Mosconi Cup. I used to hate the man when he was at the top of the snooker world, but now I really like him. Having said there's no way he should be in Europe's team. He's not near being one of the best 6 Europeans.

    Hard luck lads better luck this year although Saturday was the best single day ever, 5 wins fantastic. I think the reason Drago did not take part because he did have to time and commitment to practice. Davis is a very good player and he also brings something different which USA or Europe do not else have and also his performances in the world championships in Cardiff in recent years have been outstanding, remember he was 8-2 to efren rayes and came back to win 9-8.

    say whens the next 9 ball pool that will be shown on sky. Please dont tell me i have to wait till the world championships :(
