You should be be able to get them in most comic shops - I know both Forbidden Planet and Sub City in dublin carry them.

Necropolis is one to look out for.

I've seen a good few in Easons - but then that's up north. They more than likely have different stock in the ROI.

I think the one set in Ireland (written by none other than Garth Ennis) is meant to be great.... Been ages since I read 2000ad mind and never did get round to checking out that one.

Also try the Dredd crossovers which are meant to be excellent.

I pretty much gave up on Dredd when they changed artists a while back, never really bothered trying to get back into it. Same with batman, only I tried getting back into it when they released that new comic.... Didnt like it.

So whats the deal with the crossover? Who does the art work?

None of the Dredd novels I've read were really up to scratch. You're better off sticking to the comics.

Cable - the Dredd artist changes on a regular basis. the artist you like may have come and gone again. can you remeber who it was?

Nope, it was a while back, i remember reading on the net that he was leaving the Dredd group.

Easons have most of the published graphic novels from 2000ad so any newsagent or book shop in the country should be able to order them for you.

I recommend the judge child books. I was lucky enough to read them as they came out but stupid enough to sell them off later for 10p each.:dunno:

Do any of you remember a short that was in 2000AD a few years back about a guy called SAM? I think it was sam. Basically it was about this guy who's alternate universe self (cyborg) who had killed his mother/doctor at birth with his ambilical chord and went on to kill everyone on his planet and then his universe, was trying to destroy the multiverse. This guy sam? and a load of his alternate reality selfs was set a task to stop this maniac from destroying existance.

It had this cyborg version having a bomb that would destroy everything except him because his skin was so strong it could withstand anything. It ended by the original Sam? making the cyborg counterpart swallow this grenade and explode it on his inside (obviously his skin wouldn't let the blast out as it was indestructable).

Anybody remember this? I lent out my issues of it to a friend who proceded to accidentily let his little brother tear it to shreds. I later tore the friend to shreds :P hehe

I would love to get my hands on a copy of this and/or to check the date of it as I believe that the Spiderman series in the 90's ripped off this idea when they did the whole evil alternate v 6 good alternates (the madam web storyline with the secret wars)
