    All,

    If you are ordering BB fom IOL (EsatBT) you need to tell them if you are running Panther (dumb *&^% won't ask you) as if you are the supplied USB modem will not work and they will have to ship you an ethernet modem.

    Panther is a very new OS update, it's inevitable that stuff won't be supported yet.
    Eircom also use this modem, as do UTV.

    eircom now supply the Netopia Cayman 3341 which has both a USB and Ethernet port - so you can just use the Ethernet connection with the Mac

    they have config steps for using this modem with Mac if you follow the links from this page... (vbulletin can't handle the direct url)
