XviD on the mac

    I've been searching for hours now for an xvvid codec for the mac. I read somewhere that it's a njon native file to the mac or something... I managed to get divx working fine but xvid just refuses to work. I even got a program called 3vid or something that converts xvid .avi files to .molv files, but when i tried playing the .mov file in quicktime i got the same error as i got when trying to play the xvid .avi file. Can somebody please tell me how to get these files working on my osx laptop? I downloaded these movies on the pc but im wanting to watch a few movies tonight on the laptop. Anyways, someone please help cus i'm at the end of my tether here....
