Competition: How well do you know boards.ie

Before I ask the questions here are the rules.
- Judges ruling is final in all disputes.
- You are allowed only one entry as a response on this thread.
- If you edit your post your disqualified.
- Winner is the first person with the most correct answers.
- There is a *GOOD* prize.
- Competition has nothing to do with the owners of Boards.ie
- Nearly all answers are in the boards. If you are a long term visitor you should have no problem.
- You can copy answers from other people answers (as long as you don't re-edit your post)
- Deadline will 16th of December 2000.

So it's a question of who can hold out the longest to get the most right answers yet get in before anyone else can.

Nope there are 1998 posts there as well (Quake was around a lot longer). But there are still chances of winning by hijacking other peoples answers. WWMan actually only got 2 right. So even bothering to try will get you more answers

We (that means Cloud, while I wrung my hands in worry) loaded up the previous boards threads so that we wouldnt have a break in the continuity of posts and search history.

So in a way, you are both right, posts are searchable back to 1998, and the first post to the quake forum was in 1999.
Of course in a more real way... Hobbes is right

BTW, I never gave any money to the STB fund, regardless of what I might have SAID I was gonna give

What the axe was made of was irrelevant, it was the fact that a grown man was carrying around a toy, a nerd fantasy toy none the less....i was, and still am highly entertained by it, it seems right that hobbes, roleplayer by hobby, with 3848 posts to his name, should carry such an item.....it corresponded well with my mental image of him

However, the large majority of you will not understand the above as it is you who i find so highly amusing.....your ability to be amused for example, by such simplistic variations of words (l33t) and your extravagent need to express your emotions within a text by use of smiley faces, perhaps to make this web of fantasy seem more realistic in your lonely lives? It fascinates, and indeed, sickens me to see these adults sitting happily and giggling wide eyed through their glasses into a computer screen at some intellectually barren comment written by an intellectually barren person.
