Tyring to mirror the SuSE 9 Ftp site for hopeful delpoyment to some machines, ive gone thru near 3GB so far(on college connection) just wondering what is the total file size of that FTP directory

Last I heard suse's mirror was 11GB

Probably not....
It depends on what you are trying to do. If you know exactly what you want and don't want, then it should be easier, however , if you are doing an automated mirroring you won't be able to pick and choose so easily

the 8.2 site was about 9gb... a little more if I remember. The actual binary distro of 8.2 is about 4gb, the rest is source.

yeah for each package there was the src for it as well, i give up, and well ressurect this at work sometime.
