A mate of mine has a 95 Beemer 730 and the engine calfed a couple of weeks ago. The mechanic has tried unsuccessfully to get a second hand engine for him. Is there a BMW second hand parts website or contact number that anyone can give me?? Much appreciated.
    Richie

Are you looking for a complete BMW 3.0 ltr engine?

Best chance is to check out Buy and Sell for the dismantlers. Its a long shot in this country though....

I've got a lot of BMW parts form a crowd in England called Farnham Auto Breakers (F.A.B.), phone: +441594827333 - they are BMW specialists I think. They are very reasonable on price and offer a guarantee on all the bits you get off them as long as you don't open any of the nuts/bolts they mark with yellow paint (i.e. they can prove it wasn't you who broke it).

Worth a ring if you can't get an engine in Ireland.

That's probably the way to go. Not much of a chance to get the Nikasil M60 V8 block here. I reckon only about a couple of dozen were ever sold here new. The Nikasil M60 was only supplied in the 530i, 540i, 730i and 740i between '93 and '95

Got one meself but it's still attached to a perfectly running 5 series ;)
