Was wondering when a film is released in cinema and then goes onto dvd, is there a minimum time limit before a film can go onto dvd? Just there are a few good films which take ages to come to dvd like lord of rings two towers.

usualy about 6 months a think. lotr is longer because they wanted to keep the hype for each movie.

Terminator 3 and both this year Matrix movies will be alot less tho. Pirates of the Caribbeen seemed to come out on DvD very quick as well.

Finding Nemo was out on DVD whilst still on cinema release in the US, presumably to get in on the US XMas market, which it did - to say the least

finding nemo was out in the states from the start of june. it is coming out at the usual stage on dvd. it must be still doing well in the cinema if it is still showing.

Disney are just very, very slow when releasing their new movies worldwide.
