if thats the case then my good friend BossArky, why did you not put in your post something along the lines of:

'I am looking for the opinions of people who have worked in SAP and eBuy, and Im looking for this kind of information...."

pedantly speaking, the information i gave you is exactly what you asked for.
if you didnt get what you wanted, then i suggest the questions you asked werent specific enough.

I dont think theres a need to try and be a smart arse about it either.

    You tell 'em Eamo!

    As regards your questions:

    I know plenty about SAP.
I know some good sites. http://www.sap.com is one.
    I have heard of eBuy.

As regards the question I think you're trying to ask:

SAP is for big companies with massive budgets and lots of little IS trolls to work on it. It's not a small/medium business solution. Try Avante instead, but it's an even bigger pig.

A good site to start is, http://www.openitx.com/lists/sap-r3-l.asp

eBuy - Just Google it, I'm getting bored here.

That was patently obvious, given that he posted it on the 'work' board.

SAP projects also have a higher than usual failure rate according to what I've heard.

You can get good rates as a SAP contractor tho.

Yeah squirrel....i also heard that SAP has a 90% dissatisfaction rate. lecturer mentioned it in class one day. Its to do with the integration probelms they face after installing the system in a business.
