Whos a silly boy then ?
I've been fooling about with my
NT video drivers & have foo(barred)
    NT.

I've a blue screen with the msg

    Driver Entry Point Not Found

    The \systemroot\system32\drivers\nv4_mini.sys device driver
couldn't locate the entry point VIDEOPORTDDCMONITORHELPER
    in driver VIDEOPRT.SYS

it also says to fire up under the /CRASHDEBUG option
    and contact my sys admin.....

Any ideas how I can retrieve the situation without reinstalling NT
(I've also got Linux on this box & don't want things to get worse...)

    thanks.

boot up, press f8 (if i remember correctly, been a while since I looked at NT)
and then chose "last known good configuration" or summat.

thanks guys - got it sorted -

heres how I got it sorted -
I'd no EBD (natch) so I changed the precedence on the boot process
    to 1-floppy, 2-cdrom & 3-hard drive
then used the repair disk option on the NT set-up to copy over the system files & reloaded the service pack 6 update on top of that.

Its working (so far) but its not a production machine so its acceptable.

    thanks again
