Missing Channels Sky Digital

    Within the last two days my BBC2/ITV/CH5 have vanished.
    (No satellite signal beig recieved)
    BBC1/CH4 Sky News are working fine.
    I tried the digi box on another dish and all channels worked
    perfectly. I suspect LNB problem.
    Can anyone advise if the missing channels are on a different
    transponder or if I am thinking correctly it is the LNB that has
    gone faulty. Does this sound like an LNB problem .??

    well if you still have chan 4 and have lost ITV & CHAN 5 BBC2 then it IS probably a LNB problem. try this first though, switch of your box at the mains leave it off for about 2 mins, put your finger on the back up button on your digibox (NOT REMOTE CONTROL ) and switch back on, keep your finger on the back up button until all the lights on your digibox come on, it could take up to 10 mins to force the software download but it is usually quicker, it will then go into standby, turn it back on and try for ITV & CHAN 5 BBC2 if you dont have them I think your LNB has had it.
