Guys, just a simple techie question. Do you all switch off your sky box at night or whenever you are finished viewing? I generally just switch off the TV and leave the sky box on. Guys,

Leaving the box in is fine. As far as I know the only thing that is turned off when you put the box into standby is the output to the scarts/RF and audio. The "guts" of the decoder remain powered up.
