Windows 2003 Standard Edition & Domain Controller

    Does anyone know if win2003 stanrdard edition comes with a domain controller or do I have to get the a different edition?

    Standard edition has the domain controller functionallity built in. 100% sure ie have two running here
    The main advantage of Enterprise edition is to allow clustering
    and data center is for big server farms

    Windows Server 2003 Standard, Enterprise & Datacentre can be promoted to a DC via the command line tool DCPROMO.exe.

    The Web Server edition cannot be promoted to a domain controller.
