Sound/vision sync on sky plus???

    I have been using my sky+ box now for a few days recording stuff. One thing I noticed quite a loit over the weekend is that the audio and video are out of sync at times!
    This is REALLY annoying.
    I taped Third Watch from RTE 1 on thursday night and watched it on saturday..the sync was dreadful. I was ready to bring the box back to the shop today until I also noticed this while watching an episode of JAG yesterday on hallmark live (i.e. not recodred).

    Has anyone else noticed this problem lately. Would it be a general problem with Sky or could it be a problem with the new Sky+ decoder that I am using now?

    Sometimes (very rarely) you can get slight sync problems when watching a recording. Stopping the playback and retuning to regular TV befor restarting the playback sorts it out.

    I haven't seen/heard this problem myself, but my brother complains his sky+ is out of sync when using the digital output to his 5.1 amp.

    I've my Sky+ going through my 5.1 amp and haven't noticed anything only excellent sound. Even the ads are in Surround Sound mode :D

    This has happened with my box a handful of times. Stopping the recording, and restarting it seems to do the trick.

    My box is also connected via an optical link to a DD5.1 Amp, but I ain't noticed any problems with that.
