    what programs do you use for rendering?

    I've autodesk mechanical desktop 6 which has a rendering package but it can be a bit of a pain.

    yeah, ive got mechanical7, not a whole lot of difference, i suppose it depends what you want to render, autodesk is more for technical drawings, for more artistic work i suppose 3dsmax, i dont know, could be wrong id say the regulars here know of better packages

    I've used it and it's great for just about everything a newbe could want plus it's very cheap compaired to Max or Maya
