    Oh my god!

    ER is the best.

Just shut the **** up! shut the **** up!

excellent acting, excellent storys, excellent plots, excellent direction, excellent characters, excellent = ER.

The reason this tread didn't get many replies is because people know ER is excellent, they don't even have to say so. OK

Unlike there british counter parts which continue to become more and more soap opera like as time goes on.

Bring back The Ward BBC that's what I say, Casulty **** Casulty.
    unluckiest hospital

Have you been to an Irish ER, there fairly unlucky.

ER WAS excelltent...for the last couple of series it has been OK only. In fact last season was pretty near to bad. I only just stuck with it to the end.
I am looking forward to the new series though in the (vain??) hope that it get;s back to what it used to be.

I actually have to say I think it has not lost its quality.

But I do realise that American Dramas loose there appeal after 10 or 12 years.
But that is good because it give Varity and you can think back and remember times go by, and get all nostalgic and **** about shows that used to be on. You can to that with British Soap (Do the brits do drama any more?)
    IMO.

And this is its 11th series and the plan to go until 2006, at least Dr. Carter has signed up until 2006, weather they will continue on till then who knows.

    Great news!
Television is decidely lacking at the moment. Can't wait to get stuck into the new series of E.R. True it ain't what it used to be but it's still one of the best dramas on television.

ER is not too bad this season so far. I have seen most of the new episodes on NBC and most of them have been fairly enjoyable. There's a few new characters added this season as well who aren't too bad I suppose. Don't expect to see much of Noah Wyle though, he seems to have reduced his role to a guest starring one. And I don't want to spoil it for anyone by saying who it is, but a major character will be leaving this season and one of the best IMO.

Ignore "big Chief", obviously just another twit trying to increase his post count with irrelevant crap, you'd think he would have quit after reaching 2000+

But anyway back to ER, 'bout feckin time it was back on our screens, I do agree in some respect with some of the comments about it being better in series gone, I think the chemistry with some of the characteres was better back then, not to say I still think it's a great show.

PS: michael anthony, if that is true then you are a class 1 pr1ck. Not that I mind spoilers, but others do.
Off with his head ! :p

    Total Bullsh1t.
That was the beginning of the previous series, and it didn't crash or kill him, he just walked into the rotor chopping his arm off, funniest thing on tv all year imo.

What michaelanthony said is absolutely true, I saw it myself on NBC4.
Romano goes to roof with Neela and when he gets there and sees the chopper he has a panic attack. He goes back down and runs out on to the street where he catches one of the other new characters smoking a joint. He gets mad with him and tells him to go inside and wait for him. Meanwhile on the roof the chopper which has just taken off falls on to the roof on it's side sending the propellor flying into the elevator shaft where it hits one of the nurses. The chopper then falls off the roof onto the street killing Romano. Afterwards Dr. Lewis thinks her ex husband Chuck was the pilot and was killed but it turns out he wasn't the pilot after all and is still alive although he was hurt in the explosion the crash caused. Abby who is now a Med Student manages to save him though.

    MOD Edit: Spoilers added

Please add Spoilers if youre going to give away a forthcoming Plot to a show. See the charter.
