Does anyone know any new Indie material I can downl... I mean buy in our lovely overpriced Irish retail outlets? Since I moved house, I don't have access to MTV2 anymore, and can't find all the new material out there. But at least I don't have to see their stupid sell-out ads!

Well a lot of good bands usually upload mp3s to their websites.

Two bands I could think of off the top are Mayhem, and Behemoth.

If you want to get some reconmendations, there's plenty of bands who upload FULL songs, rather than just samples.

Check out www.thetruemayhem.com and www.behemoth.metalkings.com for the two I've mentioned. They've got a hell of a lot uploaded.

    Pixies
    Placebo
    Mansun
The Mars Volta / At The Drive In
    Biffy Clyro
    Vast
    A Perfect Circle

Did anyone see Maynard James Keenan in "Bikini Girls Mayhem" on The Blizzard of Odd last night? Hilarious!
    Mayhem, and Behemoth.

Would you class them as 'Indie'?

If you want some good kinda indie stuff, definitely check out the following:

    Interpol : obstacle1
Sigur Ros: Untitled 8 (its a long song so itll prolly take feckin ages to d/l, but its worth it, trust me)
    Failure: Another space song
    Joy division: Twenty four hours

Yeah the entire albums tracks are just called Untitled 1 through 8. 8 is seriously amazing, easily a contender for best song ive heard this year.
