Has anyone managed to get mplayer to play .rm files with sound?
I keep getting a missing audio codec error when I try to play them back. The same files play in real player 8 but there's no fullscreen option in that. In theory I have all the codecs, I downloaded the win32 and real player 9 codecs from the mplayer.hu site, and unzipped them to the /usr/lib/win32 and /usr/lib/Realplayer8/Codecs directories respectively, overwriting a few older versions of some files.
The version of mplayer I'm using came from an RPM obtained via urpmi, so I don't know what exact version it is, and have no source code to recompile it. Even if I have the source code, I don't fancy my chances of compiling a working program (0% record so far). Is there any way to install a package that will tell mplayer where to look for its codecs?

Euh, for what it's worth, I got a Xine package that lets me play .rm files in fullscreen.
    So it's all okay, yippee.
