Metal Watering Holes

trying to compile a list of pubs in ireland that play metal, and being from Dublin, the only two i go to are Bruxelles or Fibbers.

So whats your local metal-playing pub? there anywhere else decent in Dublin for music?

Hey dude, 2 come to mind:

The Foggy Dew (beside the central bank) play some decent rock tunes in the evening

Downstairs in Thomas Reeds on Dame street play some indie/rock/metal at the weekends. Only trouble is getting in - its usually jammers by about 7pm.

Yah I likes Thomas Reeds downstairs (I still call it The Oak tho! ). But I'm poor! Nay be any booze for long periods of time for me now!

up north there is 2 main metal pubs i go to there not really metal but do play a lot of rock.

in Belfast = lime lite
Locally = Brysons usually have a good band in every few weeks but tbh u need to make ure on crack

Usually when you go somewhere u get a vibe from the place whether u like it or not, the music and how the crowd is. Based on having been there i formulated an opinon of the establishment and decided it was a good place to go if you want a drink and some good music all form being there once WOW. So what exactly is ur point?

A lot of places (such a Limelight in Belfast and The Orchard in Letterkenny) have metal nights, but play crap a lot of the time, should they be included?
