i'm not trying to sound condesending but this is a racing sim board :)

anyway it's ****(in keeping with the rest of the piss poor franchise) of the highest order. midnight club 2 is much much much, much better for your underground street racing type kicks. when they added the nicely licenced nos kits and spoilers, lush streetscapes and kicking soundtrack they left out one thing, the most important thing in a game of any type, playability. its not as bad as the previous iteration of EA's terrible butchering of the 3do classic arcade racers heritage but still not nearly worth parting with 60 eurobucks of your hard earned money. if oyu want a poor racing title on the ps2 buy racing evolution type s. at least you supporting a quality software house buying that as opposed to ea who's whole mantra is stagnation and exploition(and before anyone says anything, final fantasy keeps only the name, gameplay mechanics change vastley between each title and ffx-2 can be considered excuasable exploitation as final fantasy: the spirits within almost bankrupted square and they needed to rake the moolah in big time :))

    I disagree!

Having played the game myself I find it is good fun. If it had a multiplayer option, like Need For Speed 6 then it would be great.

For aspiring modders out there, it is good too. UNfortunatly for many of the people in Ireland, they cannot relate to it totally as it has only the high end of road/sport cars IE the Civic. No, you won;t be able to see what your "modded" (IR 2 stripes, HUGE spoiler, tinted windows and a body kit) Micra will look like!

Handling is good of the cars, and they seem to react well to the controls. A large range of additions can be put on it to make it your dream car.

I'd say worth a look, but stil I prefere NFS6

*Need for Speed 6 and NFS Underground are available at all good games shops for E60, and also on BitTorrent :)

While i only played the demo, what i will say is it is pure arcade tripe.
If your into simplistic arcade racers then you will like it but it is hardly a sim.
We do welcome any racers here though regardless but you guys need to play something that falls into the sim genre.
