    Yes it's on tonight.

Seems a bit weird having it in November for the past few years, but no doubt it has been brought forward so there will be more toy buying time before Christmas....

Does anyone else feel sorry for the kids that are forced onto the show? Especially the kid that had to sing the Girls Aloud song. He was nearly crying when they came out on stage.

He nearly shat his pants, it was hilarious. I think he was expressing all our sentiments though.

I did get a little embarassed for that muppet with the DJ toy.

Just think, how many of these kids are going to get the crap beaten out of them on Monday? The parents really need a good whack across the head imo. Trying to make up for their own failings...

Kinda felt sorry for the audience member given the chocolate covered worm to eat.

Think the show has lost its lustre for me, but then I am around 20 years too old for it. :p

    Yeah! enjoyable all the same!

Nice to see dustin getting back on it after how many years.

OMFG it was the best thing EVAR!!

I couldn't stop laufghing during the Rudolph Rap man it was fricken classic. "wicky wicky yeah"...:D

And the kid singing was hilarious too. The look on his face...he was totally horrified at what was after happening.

I know this is bad and everything but the kid next to the blind guy started breaking his shíte laughing when the blind guy started singing!

And what was with the spoilt fúckers they had riding the bikes etc? They were all banging into each other and one girl started giving some hella roadrage about half way through...
Is it me or are toys just getting shítter...especially the DIY toys

If anything toys have gotton better as technology improves. Take lego for example - you can do all crazy crap with that, more than we used to be able to do it. Mecanno sets are another great piece of kit.

I never watch that show though, for the reasons such as that RAPPING FOOL. What teacher but him up to that - CRINGE !

You must mean the "partially sighted" boy, I didn't see any blind kids...

****ing Pat and his PC script.

nahh old skool lego > new lego, see the old one allowed kids to use their imagination to build whatever they want, now it's just building by umbers to build a car or whatever, not that i care, of course
    mehhh

Pat : Look!!! Its Girls Aloud!! Do you want to talk to them?!?!?
Boy : No.... I want my mammy....

Did you see the Dubliner girl showing all the dolls... and the wee skanger accent on her....
"Oi didnt loike da doll, cos it has fa' feet and a fa' hed!!!!"

The Billie Barrie kids freak me out.....

Pat :"...an ugly bird who cant sing"
Dustin : "Posh Spice!! Is she here too?"

    Classic!!

Let me tell you though.... Gay Byrne used to be in a QUARE nark when he had to do the toy show....

    PAT KENNY IRELAND HATES YOU

Orignally said by Eamon Dunphy, but now he makes pat look good.

    I:D

I think pat does a better job of the toy show then Gay byrne. IMO

It's a bloody institution innit? I was having Thnaksgiving with some American students and they thought it was the funniest thign they'd seen on TV since they got here. Apart from the feminists who were pissed cause the little boys got to race cars whereas the little girls had to do the play vaccuming.

Just thought of a drinking game for the Toy show.

2 shots everytime a small nearly crys
1 shot for the billy barries
1 shot for the child that makes the biggest ass out of himself
1 shot for the amount of toys that dont do what there supposed to
1 shot for when pat thinks he knows more then the kids about toys
and 2 shots for everyone in the audience.
    etc.

You see your american student friends would have enjoyed it even more so

I am sure this doesn't go with the thread but anyway.

They were playing a drinking game version of Munchkin. But American drinking games are much tamer than ours.
