Fro Aer Lingus FAQ on pilot career paths........

    2. What requirements are needed to apply for the Aer Lingus Cadet programme?
You must be aged 18 years or over, have a good general standard of education, and be between 1.61 and 1.63 metres in height.

Grin....either that or they cant afford adjustable pilot seats

Aeroplanes have a ball on a piece od string above the pilots chair. - You let it dangle and raise the seat so all pilots are at the same eye ball level...

Obviously with the cutbacks they can't afford to get the seat fixed..

Doesn't seem to be able to find that.

And military aircraft certainly have height restrictions for pilots, but not that tight.
