Just wondering if we are all a like with are habits and dislikes.

Personally I hate cutting my nail with a clippers,
it reminds me of someone dragging their nails across
    a blackboard....Jesus!

So Nail cutting hands and Feet get me everytime.

Are their more like me ?

Or are there different dislikes !

Things You Hate Doing But Have To.....
    YORE MA!

    *ahem*
sorry about that, just had to get it out of my system...

shaving for me, i fecking hat doing it so much :(
the only good part is rubbing your baby smooth face afterwards... mmmmmmm.

never had a problem with clipping my nails. it can be a bit icky if you've just gotten out of the bath & your nails are all soft:eek:

Getting out of bed at 7 for work, going to work, getting off the bus to go to work, going in the door, working..

Hmmm, I think I'm noticing a pattern, though what it is I can't pinpoint.

I hate shaving too. Usually I only shave every other day, and not at all at the weekends if I can get away with it.

Oh, and listening to other people ranting, raving and complaining, even though you've had the ****tiest day in the world, just cause you're too polite. Oh and do they ever ask? Pah!

Used to hate doin me nails too... I'd have to get my Dad to do them. It was the actual cutting I'd hate, and because I used to leave them for so long the skin underneath the nail would be ultra sensitive after the cut.

I'm fine with it now though. It's fun.

    Shaving's a bit of a hassle, but I don't mind it.

I hate being polite all the time. I just wish I was cold hearted enough to be a bástard sometimes. As in I generally let rude/ignorant people get away with shít. The times I have been a bástard back to rude people I've felt sorry for them. So I have to be polite!!! Does that make sense!? Too early... stopping now....

    making small talk in general.

I'd have to say - going to the bank to cash my paycheck. I like receiving the money, but its such f*cking hassle just to go the whole way in, spend 2 minutes there to actually lodge it, and then walk the whole way home again. I used to regularly end up with about 4 at home, lying around.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 593 ✭✭✭Carbiens

im gonna mix two that have already been said,

bieng nice to people while working in my parents bar.

if it was anywhere else you could get away with bieng a prick to them, but the fact that its at home you have to be nice to them "it's good for business" and whatnot.

we really do get some real muppet know-alls in our place though:(

I'm glad that most of that's behind me. I hated coursework so flipping much. I would sit down at the computer, and after two hours, I would have the computer desktop customised the way I wanted it, everything nice and neat.. and a blank Word page. The worst of it was that it was the Uni's computer, so it had to be repeated if I went to a different computer

By the way, I only ever felt the 'need' (desire?) to do this when doing coursework.

Being nice to complete assholes, idiots ect. I do it every day and I cant express how much I'd love to remove their liver with a cattle prod. And every time I converse with them, what I want to say shoots through my mind, and oh how good it would feel to say it.

"Hey Owen, do you have evanesances album?"
"Yeah, but only on my PC, on mp3. Why?"
"Oh, right.... Can I have a loan of it?"
NO YOU BLOODY WELL CANNOT HAVE A LOAN OF MY PC
    "..Its not mine,sorry"

And people that ask the same question over and over and over and over and...

so In short, dealing with people I really dislike.

    thank you for listening.

    I hate:
    Having to go into school

Having to restrain myself from hitting one of the idiots in my school

Being the free tech support to my entire extended family, including my 65 year old grandfather, whose pc is so crap it should be shot

The forced religion in my school. At least once a day we are expected to pray in some form, and I swear if a teacher ever asks me why I'm sitting quietly with at least 12 inches between my hands I'll have to be physically restrained

    Moving

    Eating

Having to fetch my own caffeinated beverages

    oh boy;

    1) Getting up when its dark

    2) getting out of warm bed

    3) Going to bed buckled(and you try drink loads of water beforehand and try sober up but you know its not going to work and you will still puke the following day at about 8am and feel like TOTAL **** for the following day when all u want to do is sleep....) - this is actually the worst of them all.

    4) Long distance flying when im 1) Wrecked or 2) Full(as this will make me feel exhausted and hence feel sick) - Very close second.

    5) Freezing cold walks home when you miss the taxis/buses etc - this sucks big time too.

    6) Doing something you hate doing or feel really awkward about doing. For me, a perfect example would be seeing relatives i just dont want to see because i dont know any of them.

    7) Seeing someone you dont want to see and feeling obliged to go up and talk to them.

    8) Calling in sick to work.

    9) Anonymous phone calls. WHY would someone hide their number unless they know you dont want to talk to them...???(excluding ex directory numbers of course)

    10) People you know are better than you but you just dont want to admit it to yourself.

    11) Having dreams and ambitions you know just wont happen more than likely.

    12) Not knowing whats happening next.

    13) Doing a college course you dont want to do(like me - year 2 of four year course) and im more than likely dropping out at XMAS.
