    who knows, when im tired.

Although bloody star wars knights of the old republic has made sure my bed times are alot later than usual recently with usually sitting up bloody half the night playing it, already been late for work 3 times this week cause of it.

Its nice not to make a routine, life is dull enough that you have to do the same dreary job day in day out never mind making a "set" bed time, goto bed when your tired i say. I hate my job and with commuting i dont usually get back to 6/7, i want more than 4-6 hours to myself/doing something apart from work or else i would just get demented.

But something which i find bizzare:

If i go to bed at about 7pm with my clothes on ie. just for a lyi down then i'm out like a light in about 10 minutes flat. But at night when i go to bed it take about an hour and several different positions (not sexual) before i can nod off. Wrecks my head most nights.

    Go figure.

I am only sleep at my regular times. If I go to bed earlier than normal then I won't be able to fall asleep, which is annoying because I could really do with some extra sleep.

I usually go to bed between 11 and 12 during the week, otherwise I won't make it in to college.
When I go home at the weekends I stay up til after 2 usually- the novelty of digital TV is still fresh especially cos we don't even have basic cable in my house in college.

jesus. i didnt expect so many replies so fast.

well taking all the replies and answers i have come to a conclusion.

MOST PEOPLE WHO PST ON BOARDS HAVE MAJOR TROUBLE SLEEPING.
REASONS = posting too late, playing games, watching t.v or just insomnia.

but did you know the average human body can survive on 8 yes thats 8 miniutes of sleep a day. or every 21 1/2 hours. that gives you 21hours and 22 miniutes of time to do anything you want to do. including work, recreation etc...

on a lighter note does anyone here have any good ideas for sleep?

what i do is i picture my self standing in a field.
i then start to create a house starting from foundations and so on.
    works really well.
and before i have the windows in the first floor im out like a light.
very usefull when i have work so early in the morning and its 3am and all i want to do is sleep.

so whats your ideas or secrets for getting to sleep??

And how do you accomplish that? I'd imagine your body could, but what about your brain? I've read somewhere that one of the main purposes of sleep is to repair free radical damage to brain cells.

sleep about 9pm on weekdays and nights.. unless I didn't finish any homework and what not. Then I could be up well till 4am. Or if I got a new game won't sleep till well the next day.

Hmm, I usually aim for 12am, though this ends up being put off and being put off, before a final burst of music, bed could be anywhere from 2am-3am. When I go out it's more than likely going to be 5/6am, that's if I get back to my own bed :)

I normally head towards bed for about 12 or 1, end up playing drums for a while (electric kit) and then watching repeats of stuff, this weeks its sex and the city and bronx bunny :D After everything its about 4 by the time i hit the sack, then up 4 hours later for college. Joy.

Oh, and milk makes you sleep. Its got some chemical, begins with a T, in it, thats in all sleeping tablets. Good stuff.
