I don't think they've actually moved to Dublin yet...
Oh, and if you want to contact them about being ripped off, you haven't a hope in hell. They never deal with customers over the phone and change their listed numbers very regularly.

No, its nothing at all to do with being ripped off, but thx for the warning!

    Can anyone else help?

Are they here yet, I read somewhere that the were location here in September 2003???

    No, they're not here yet.

They're moving into a big ugly grey building in Blanchardstown, in a business park just down the road from Ballycoolin business park. There's a roundabout there and big shiney glass & white building. Behind that.

No indication there of when they'll move in, but I'd say it will be a few more weeks at the very least.

Can anyone suggest how I can contact ebay Ireland...email addy etc????

    Would REALLY appreciate your help.

the easiest way would be to wait 2 months until ebay's irish offices actually open!

they are still holding interviews for staff there and aren't even in their own building yet, as the interviews are taking place in a rented office space until their facility is completed.

you have zero hope cof contacting them as an ebay customer until they are open, and even then initially they won't be taking voice enquiries, only email, so again you're stuffed.

the current european headquarters for ebay is in germany, so if it's a customer/consumer enquiry you'll need to contact them directly until their dublin offices are up and running.

Why do you need to contact them? If it's about a job, ebay would go through a recruitment agency, they really hate dealing directly with people. I doubt they have anyone in Ireland yet, you can ring directory enquiries and get their address and phone number, but as I said, they change their phone number regularly

if it is about a job then you'll need to speak to www.firststaff.ie (get the number and ask for antionette) but as the interviews are almost over, i'm guessing you'd be waay too late to apply.

There's an ad for jobs with paypal/ebay in todays Irish Times. The email address is dublinjobs@paypal.com

BTW Blanchardstown Corporate park is in the middle of nowhere and unless you've got a car or live beside the place, don't bother applying.

not quite true mate. there's about 4 busses go past the front door of the place, and it's only 5 minutes (if that) walk to the ebay building from there. and 1.60e for a ticket from Hawkins St. or Dame St.
