Try planetpoker - http://www.planetpoker.com/games/draw.asp but check their rules. They might not be exactly the same rules you play. And when you say 5 card draw is what we play in Ireland I think you mean when families gather round for a friendly game.

Didn't mean to imply that. But in truth I think when you learn a game like Hold'em you can appreciate it more for the skill involved and it becomes less about luck and more engaging as a game.
5 Card Draw can be great fun but it's not something I would play online or in casinos for money. Just my opinion.

I also agree, Holdem is the purest form of poker, anyone who learns it will never go back to five card draw.

Ok , I understand what you are saying now , in actual fact when reading up on poker it says that 5 card draw , drawing a maximum of 3 cards is poker in its purest form and closest to the original game . It is the game that I and and I assume alot of others learned to play . And is the one that was played in poker classic's around this area . It just riles me at times when I hear ppl putting this form of poker down .

i leanred 5 card first, and then all the boyo's were like lets play hold em and i was all like ah nah, this is mad, but now i just cant go back to 5 card... holdem is the most skillful

Everyone has a lot of respect for hold-em because it's probably a more complex game with a little bit more possibilities but 5 card draw is also a legitimate game of poker.

As regards hold-em being the most skilful, Omaha hi-lo takes a helluva lot more skill to play at all. Hold-em is great because it's a skilful game that is easy to pick up but has plenty of depth when you do improve.

In my opinion 5 card draw is to Pool what Hold'em is to Snooker. Any Joe Soap can pick up a cue and play pool but you need that extra skill to be good at snooker.
