I drop into Ladbrokes Poker, www.ladbrokespoker.com fairly regularly, if you play online, who do you play it with?

best poker ive found to play online is www.pokerroom.com, no silly downloads to play, no stupid pop-ups all over the place, good graphics and theres always loads of people about. plus there is a tournament section which is great fun and there is a play money tournament twice a day were the winner gets real money into their account as a prize. Havent managed to win it yet though but its the spot for poker, few different types of poker as well.

    ~ cents worth given

Play on racingpost myself, but I never play for money online so its strictly the free play tournaments.

There's a free multi table every day at 5pm, yesterday I came 11th out 50 and my mate [davey devil] won it. Great laugh.

To be honest I haven't tried the others, but I am pleased with this one. It requires a download but there's no spyware and it's very neat. Texas hold 'em only.

I play on Ladbrokes.com nearly ever day - if you are looking for a good site to start with then this is it - you can even win a seat at the Sky Sports Poker Million next year.

I play at www.pokerroom.com too mostly on the play money tables. Good fun, but it's almost impossible to bluff 'cos ppl aren't playing with real money so they fell oblidged to raise and call at every opportunity.

up until recently i had only ever played on pokerstars.com, i entered one of the free tournaments there last week, there was oover 3,000 people in it, i came in somewhere just over the 2000 mark, it was free to enter and i think the prize was free entry to one of there tournaments where you pay cash to play.

i played on dynamitepoker last saturday, first time every playing on it, they had a tournament with about 2000 people in it, free to enter and first prize was something like 100dollars....

    good craic

I was under the impression that all of the online poker games were "play for real money" only, which put me off.
I'll have to try one or two of the sites mentioned, so I can brush up on my (non) skill before the Boards tournament.
    ;)

racing post is my baby, its pretty good for poker of all standards and can really help ya establish your skills on the table + the single tournaments are great, you're never waiting too long for one to start, anyone who hasn't tried it yet i would suggest you check it out

racingpost poker i think is the best, no pop ups and you can play no limit!! which is really the only true poker game

I play vcpoker.com (which is the same as racing post) and laddy's (which is the same as pokerroom.com I think). There seem to be alot of online poker sites that are pimped by different sites but you end up logging onto the same place. I aslo play ultimatebet.com and pokerstars.com, both of which I find to be of the highest standard and provide the biggest challenge in their tourneys both in skill and patience.

Currently playing in the massive freeroll on pokerstars. Madness, there's over 3800 players, doing quite well at the moment. I'll tell you my finishing position later. I'd recommend it to anyone with some patience.

Update: 207th out of 3878 people. Was playing for 2 hrs 38 mins. Great laugh.

which of these sites named above are 'real money' or pretend money??
and do you have to create a profile and all that crap,
I'd like to have a go but would need it to be easily closed when in work

All of them have real and play 'pretend' money tables.
