sorry no can do - the lads who has the CD burner is out this week. I won't be able to burn anything until next week I guess.

ffs! No worries anyway - I bet there'll be about 4 different releases over the next 2 weeks - apparently this build has a fair few little bugs - it's a Q3Demo TEST not the full demo (wierd!).

played a good few games of this today..
first time i'd ever played q3 properly
damn nice apart from the fps drops on places... bots are pretty nasty on the hardest skill level still not too intelligent tho the *******s kept campin the heavy armor/ra whatever its called
(and whats with that main menu jerk jerk jerk as the background flies...)

Oh god, I have some in common with THE Peewee. (Voodoo 3 needing glsetup update, for those who missed it )

Fun part of corruption: x-ray vision through walls
Bad part of corruption: big wall appearing in front of you at crucial moments

And after a hefty 50 meg d/l (cheers CT!)
www.glsetup is chocka-bleedin-block for a measly 200k or so

Still, the bits I can see are very nice, apart from the background on the menu. Reminds me of smoking hash after a load of beer.

oh bollo<ks, does this mean if you have a V3 AGP you have to download another 25 megs or whatever for the glsetup thingie?? i have dx7 and the latest (i.e. two days ago) drivers for the V3.

Castor, the web setup can pick up the V3 and d/l the specific driver and it's a lot less.

At least it did last time, it's timing out now. Everybody and their cat must be doing the same.

It runs fine on my V3 AGP with DirectX 7, plus the new drivers from 3dfxgamers.com. They're a 5meg or so download.
