    Anyone remember Pestilence?
A most underrated band - i think these guys were one of the premier Death bands ever (including the album Spheres!! people gave them so much **** over it, it's unreal...but you have to really get into it to dig it)
I wonder what happened to the guys? I know Patrick Mameli has a started a jazz fusion project (he had quit playin guitar for 7 years!) , what about the other guys?
    What's Marco Foddis doing?
    Anyone have any info?

I read an interview with Patrick only last nite, i've clicked thru a million links and detours, if i find the page i'll post it here.

Yeah, Pestilence really came into their own with Testimony Of The Ancients and Spheres. I heard Tony Choy (Cynic bassist who played on Testimony... then joined Atheist) was working on a cruise ship in the lounge band. :(

They're two fantastic albums. It was a great time for Death Metal, bands like Death, Atheist, Cynic and Pestilence really moved the whole genre forward.

Just a helpful reminder that in the Sound Cellar (Dublin) they have for sale a double album from Pestilence - 2 cd boxed of Spheres and T.O.T.A - well worth the 25 euro its retailing for - I am picking up my copy this week :)

    Spheres or Consuming Impulse?

Roadrunner recently re-released the 2 albums (Consuming and T.O.T.A) on a single mid-price CD. Is that the one you mean? Or am i talkin about something else?
